What is New Vision New Direction?
New Vision New Direction is a group of 4 candidates who are running for the Guilford County Board of Education for 4 of the 5 spots up for election in the fall of 2022 - Districts 2, 4, 6, 8, and At-Large. Voters have the opportunity to vote for a board representative from their district as well as for an at-large representative.
Each of us brings our own background and strengths to the table, but we are all united in a common goal: we champion a new vision and a new direction for the school system. Our focus is a return to the fundamentals of educating our children, empowering parents, supporting teachers and staff, ensuring student success and security, and promoting financial accountability. Each candidate brings varied experience that would make the team as a whole a valuable addition to the Board.
